Important Information re: Adventure Series
Hi Atticus fans,
We would first like to thank every one of you for the support you’ve shown by signing up to be an Atticus Insider. The response has been overwhelming and it’s nice to receive such high praise for our designs. We are honored that you decided to join us on this journey.
Unfortunately, we received an update on the production costs that has forced us to reconsider the launch of the Adventure Series. Our per-unit cost increased considerably. We felt it would be unwise to continue with production at this time. Our goal is to deliver watches of a quality that surpasses expectations at their price point. We felt that we would not be able to achieve that goal as we were unwilling to sacrifice quality of any one component to accommodate the higher movement cost.
As such, we have decided to provide a full refund to all of you who pre-ordered one or more of our watches. Please note that because we're canceling the project, we'll be refunding your orders in full, including PayPal fees, despite what our policy says about refunds being net of PayPal fees.
What does this mean for the future of Atticus Watch Company?
Our current plan is to regroup and watch the market - particularly the movement prices and availability - with the hope of re-launching in 2020. We hope that you will continue to follow us on this journey and hope that you will consider adding an Atticus Watch to your collection next year.
